Today the trailer was modified.
And of course I had forgot to order enough 18677 1x2 modified plate with pin hole.
This is for fixing the sag.
The 4.8mm pianowire fitted perfectly!

Tried to fit all the bricks at once, but it was a hassle.
So I fitted all of them first then incerted the rod by twisting it. Tight fit but the trailer began to be straighter by each brick it passed.
I fitted the bricks ever other way all the way. In the end I missed 5 pieces, but I had spare 1l and 2l pin connectors to fix the gap.

Getting there....
I fitted 1x1, 1x2 and 1x3 plates to fill the gaps.
Then 2x8 and 4x4 plates to lock the bricks that holds the rod in place.
Felt much stronger now.

Finished.
Here I also have built the new tow hitch.

No sag anymore!!!
The part from wheels backwards wants to fall off, so I removed 1x5 red plates in front of wheels on each side and used 1x12 plates to cross from wheels to the chassis where the rod is fitted.
Very secure now!

The new hitch on the trailer end.
I also fitted some tools.
Had to use one technic axle bush to space up the trailer as it raked forward.
I guess the weight in real life sag more than the rigd studio program.
Could also space down the 2x5 tow plate with tow ball socket one plate down, but much more work.

Now I only wait on the plates to fix the forward ramp in front of cab on truck and make the new ramp at the rear of the trailer.
Also waiting on the new pin hub (ends on cylinders) and some tiles to finish the trailer.
These will probably be here tomorrow.

The last parts arrived today.
I will call this finished for now.
Time to move on to other projects..

The new section of the rear of the trailer was added. Now it looks complete.

The redesigned forward ramp

Swapped out the 2555 tile with grip for a 4081B and the horns are now secure.

Tiled the whole trailer to get rid of the 1 stud gap.

Tried to take a better picture of the 5th wheel setup

Still long lol!

The new ramp setup.

Works like so.....

On Thursday I purchased the last Speed Champions I wanted so far. The 77256 Back to the future Delorean.

Yesterday I built it.
Also made a flying stand. This can be built two ways, as the version at the clock tower with pole, and flying version.

Lego shelf is full so I placed it here for the time being.

Hopefully they come out in the daylight in near future Flo

Also did some mods to the RS3100 MOC.
Spaced out the sideskirts one plate to match the rear part after the exhaust.
Speaking of exhaust, I fitted a new exhaust (robbed from the F&F Skyline).

Did some mods to the rear corner of the quarter panel.
Need to order a few bricks to complete the mod.
Basicly I want the corner to be more round.

One of the last real Lego Speed Champions cars I`ve wanted for a good while is the Audi Quattro S1.
This was released in 2020 and has been discontinued for years.

On Sunday I won a auction and got this Audi S1 that is missing a few parts.
Mainly exhaust (I do have parts to make that), and the rear wing. Need to order parts to make the wing.

The only official Speed Champions that is still on my want list is the F&F Charger.
Released in 2022 and also discontinued. Getting more expensive by the day...

On MOC side there is several that would be great to have.
Like this 930 911 Porsche.

Not classed as Speed Champion class, but this reminds me of Midnight Pumpkin.
I hope he does a 56 Ford F100. If so I will build this without doubt!

Bought the Hoonicorn in June.

Due to the commitment of the speedrun car this had to wait.
But today I built it.
Loved every second of it!
Some very clever solutions on this build.

And for now placed on my car hauler

I think I want to add lights to this...
Still have a few of those 0402 smd leds left... Just need a battery holder..

Found my next Lego project for this autumn/winter.

This awesome hot rod by mj23!

I think I'm going for the black version
Here they are shown with 3d party chrome parts added and the color options available on the body parts made by Lego as not all parts are made in all colors.
Chromeblockcity is one of the shops that chrome plate real Lego parts.
Do get costly quickly as parts cost about 1-3.50 euro each...

Lego don't have chrome parts (they do but very rare and limited) so the chrome bits will first be light blueish grey which is the modern variant of the light grey.
I will order chrome parts from 3rd party later.

Here is the link to the hot rod. The pdf manual is actually free for this one belive it or not...
