Since it is exactly like the #1687, Bricklink will not axept anything that is just like the real Lego set sadly. I tried with a shell tank truck that was like a Lego kit, bar some small changes and they did not allow it. |

Have done a few more Lego renderings...
2140 flatbed truck and car And my favorite helicopter, 6482, but without the light and sound unit.. Then I did the fire truck and helicopter from set 6571 And lastly my own creation based on the design of 1252, but with only thing from that set is the cab... Hope Bricklink soon fix the bugs in the studio. Mostly when you place a plate on top of each other, there is one plate gap between parts so you have to move it most of the time via the menue which is a bit hassle. Also place things in the 4085c grip part, most of times it will not snap into place like on the previous update. Bugs are reported so hopefully they will fix the issues soon... Oh, and I`ve ordered 1 litre of 12% Hydroperoxide to make parts white again. Since this substance is heavly controlled here in Norway, we can`t buy it everywhere any longer. Pharmsy only sells up to half litre bottle for a pretty penny. I finally found it at a shop for horticulture stuff.

I`m a bad influencer Flo
I just ordered parts for this bada$$ US Semi Truck MOC in Speed Champions size/series. Designer is thegbrix on Rebrickable. This will be my first MOC build ever. If you want to take a closer look on this model, you can see it here: rebrickable.com...k/#details I`ve also ordered parts to make street lamps for my Lego city now that I`ve landed on a design.

And here is my street lamp design.
Simple 80s design and here with ALL Lego bricks. The 12L rigd 3mm hose is the most expensive part which will be replaced by 3mm rod of some sort.. The light grey hinge plate, black hinge part and the 1x2 plate glass is modern parts. Did not find a elegant solution with 80/90s parts without costing a lot.. Typical norwegian street lamps

Finally the sun is out so I can use the Hydrogenperoxide..
Sun is not that strong today as it`s only 13-14 degrees here today. My grubby roadplate that was more like brown ish is coming up nicely. The white parts seems to take longer to turn to white. As Lego bits tend to float, for the road plate I used some wheel holders attached to a plate and then use double sided tape to make them stick to the bottom. Hold fine under the fluid. Never liked the idea of place something on top of the road plate to hold it down as the leave a mark, or rather keep the aging color at that spot. |
