Last week I built the MOC 99073 Capri RS3100 that is designed by Gnat.bricks.
Ordered the parts on Bricklink.
The shop I used had not the wheels and tires in stock so I borrowed them from one of my cars.

I did modified it a bit.
# Motor heads widned by 1 plate on each side.
# New mirrors.
# Turned the sideskirts and removed the 1x6 plate they were sitting on.
# Added twin exhaust outlet (other side)
# Rear spoiler lifted with 2 plates.
# Modified rear quarter panel at top and rear (other side, not finished-waiting on parts).

Was missing the windscreen and 1x headlight tile so those came in the mail today (secondhand).

And here is what it orginally looked like.

I gave away all my Lego 20+ years ago, it had got hopelessly mixed into a big plastic tote bin by my sisters oldest kids, boxes and instructions destroyed, bits broken and lost so TBH the only thing of real value there (now, probably not then) were all the City roadway and Space "crater" baseboards. I didn't mind too much as I thought I'd 100% grown out of it years before, but seeing caprinut's work has rekindled my interest - anyone born late 60s/early 70s should be abe to identify this lot that arrived here from ebay last week, final air drying after a wash :D

For a while I have searching for a car hauler trailer for my speed champion cars.
But most of them have rare/expensive parts so they would costing about 150 quid in the end and some parts needed to be sourced from several shops. Not ideal.

Then yesterday I came over this on the Bricklink site made by Ashlook.

Better pictures in this link: www.bricklink.c...odel=86134

844 parts of normal parts that`s easy to come by.
I have to buy in two shops to get this complete (Norway+Denmark)
This has no instructions, but so called IO file that you can download directly into the Bricklink 3d studio.
From there you can create a PDF manual which I did. Took me two days as they came as 4 sections in not logical order so all the 844 parts has to move several times.
Since my 1:1 car needs some work rather sooner than later (overdue oilchange and pcv system replacement due the said overdue oilchange and short trips), this project might be moved to December as Xmas project.

With this trailer I have storage space for my current 4 speed champion cars and two more down the road.

My internet connection has been on off for the last 3 weeks so not much connection with the world.
Hope it stays connected now. I want to move! Seriously I need my own place.
On other news..

This weekend I built the Speed Champion F&F Skyline.
Not sure I want it to stay stock or becoming something else, hence why I didn`t fit the stickers..

I could not help myself, one of the Lego places had black month sale and was the cheapest option in whole Norway, so I grabbed 4 Speed Champion sets.
Plan is to build one each advent.

Since my internet had downtime I either spent in playing PS2, (Grand Turismo 4 mostly), or designing new Lego mocs.
First I designed a "US Show Truck" for Classic Town in 3 different versions.
Had to redesign the roof a few times as parts I orginally used don`t exist in black...

Version with gradual stripe

And last version with flat sleeper roof + spoiler, big fuel tanks and modern exhaust.
All feature side step and Texas bumper.
These 3 will be available at Rebrickable as PDF instructions.

Then the semi truck needed a trailer so I made a low boy.

Then a flatbed trailer.
As this seemed a bit empty I designed a massive industrial supercharged V16 engine on top of a pallet.

First design was without exhaust...

Then I had to redisgn as the head bricks don`t come in yellow, only bright green, black and white.
Bright green it was! With yellow valve covers.

Engine is ofcourse some sort of fantacy John Deere type...

Has also made PDF instructions for all of these...
The first truck had over 10.000 views the first week on FB, which is a first for me! People was begging to release the instructions. I`m only waiting on Rebrickable to approve my designs..

Last Sunday I built this Nascar Camaro.

Before Xmas I built this Dodge Challenger

During Xmas shopping, the Speed Champions Formula 1 series was on sale so I snapped the Red Bull one as I like these colors the most.
This was a fun build.

Now my dedicated Speed Champions series shelf is full.
I`m thinking of buying the 2 shelf unit and rob the shelf plates from that and add to this as there is no 59x15cm shelves in black anywhere..
Also built the E-Tron Audi. This was the least intresting build. Both because it was a boring build, parts barly hangs on (rear wing sides) and I`m not a huge Audi fan in the first place..
I just wantedit because it was Xmas ish color like..
