Now, I hate you Richard ! 😜 I want one.  But I bought the delorean and found the missing wheele for the mtron magnetizer ( more expensive than the delorean).  
For the chrome parts, you could use Molotov pen to paint them.

Some parts are sadly crazy expensive.

It's a pity that some of the parts for the body do not exsist in dark red which are closest to rust color in Lego.

Tonight I made the hot rod in Bricklink Studio and made some color changes.
Added gold wheels for bling and chrome on engine and suspension + mirrors.
Also changed the rear wheel covers.

I said no more Speed Champion kits this year...
Well the 77260 F&F Supra followed me home last week and today I built it.
The wheels is much much nicer than the official pictures led us to belive!!
