does anyone have a vintage hilux and can measure the steering arm lengths for me please?
i found these on ebay and wonder if they would be the right lengths or be easy to adapt to fit. thanks www.ebay.co.uk/...500wt_1069 |

cool thanks Edou, they are way too long, i need one about 70mm. i could use the shorter middle one i suppose and cut it down and just bend the end into a hook shape to fit in the steering servo. or get a die nut and recut the thread to fit a ball joint on to fit on the servo

off to the local rc car shop tomorrow, see if i cant match up some steering arms, or if not some stud bar and ball joints to make my own. fed up with trawling ebay.
also looking at some copper tube, about 6mm. i got a cunning plan for a rear bumper/gearbox protector |

does any one know if the front arm mods make the front and rear wheels uneven?

Here's a picture with a Grasshopper that has Super Hornet arms on the left and a normal one on the right : In this setup the rear is still a little wider than the front. But with the Lunchbox axles also added (I think that's what agemax did) I suspect the front to be wider... He'd have to confirm that though. Assuming I understood the question correctly. And welcome btw...
